Dear Mrs. Sanford;
In accordance with your request I am agreeable Lo modifying
and extending your mortgage payments as follows:
It is unde rstood that the total unpaid balance ia ~7, 294. 20
with interest paid to September 23. 19T1. Thie amount is to be paid
with intereat from September t3, 1971 at the rate of 5°J6 per annum
until March 23. 1972 at which time interest shall be and continue
thereafter at 8% per annum. Payments ahall be made in monthly in-
stallments of ~100.00 on the 23rd of every month beginning October
23. 1971 and continue monthly until the entire principal sum is '
,
paid in full with interest as specified . Each installment firet ehall be
applied in payment of the stated interest and then on ihe utnpaid
balaace of the principal sum. If default is made in the payment of
any installment when due. then all the remaining in8tallr,~enta shall become
due and payable at once. Privilege is given to pay two or more in- ~
stallments at any ,time.
It is unde rstood that the mortg~ge shall continue as a fir st
lien on the premises and that the note and mortgage and all of the
covenants and conditions the y conbin shall remain in force except as .
herein modified.
This refers to mortgage to Alto Adams and wife Carra Adams ~
dated March 19, 196Z and recorded in O. R. Book 32 at Page 404 of
the St. Lucie County Florida Public records. z

On Novernber 14. 1970 die mortgaged property was conveyed
to you (Carol M. Sanford ) by War ranty De ed recorded in O. R. Book 188 ~
at page 1574of the same public records. Payment of the mortgage was
' assumed by you in the deed. Afterwards, on November 28, 1970 the
~ mortgage was assigned by Alto Adams and wife Carra Adams to me '
~ (L. W. Halbe) and recorded in O. R.Book 188 at Page 1?28 of the same
! public records. I still hold the note and mort~ge and grant this
0
~ extension and modification free of expense to you and to become "
~ effective upon execution and aclaiowledgement by both.
