that he has been a resident of St. Lucie County, Florida, for more
than 59 years last past and has practiced law in said County since
1935.
Affiant further says that his acquaintance with La~•erne D.
Pitts and Gertrude Pitts dates back r.iore than 35 years, and to
the best of affiant's recollection he becar,le their personal
attorney about the year 1940 or 1941; that an attorney-client
relationship eYisted continuousl~~ thereafter with these parties
until the death of Laverne D. Pitts which occurred in Lake City,
Florida, on July 7, 1970, and affiant has co~tinued to and does
now represent Gertrude Pitts.

prier to August 18, 1945, on cahich date they acquired title to
subject real property and ttlat such marriage was continuous and

~ without interruotion until ter:~?inated by-the death of Laverne D.

~ Pitts, and this affiant says that Laverne D. Pitts and Gertrude
~ Pitts, his wife, did accept the deed of conveyance to subject

~ pro~erty as husband and wife.
