AN ORDINANCE VACATING APID CLOSING A PORTION OF
SURFSIDE DRIVE AS DELINEATED ON THE PLAT OF SURF-
SIDE, UNIT 2, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 11, PAGE 8,
ST. LUCIE COU;dTY, FLORIDA PUBLIC RECORDS, AND
VACATi1tG AND CLOSiNG A 40 FOOT DiRT ROAD RUNNirtG
WEST FROM EXISTING 60 FOOT COUNTY BEACH ACCESS
TO STATE ROAD A-1-A; PROVIDING FOR CERTAI~1 COiJ-
TIi1GEtdCIES IN COP~NECTIOY THEREWITH; AND PROVIDIAIG
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COPIMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance,
as hereinafter set forth, the following described parcels of real property
be and the s~..~e are ~ereby clcsed, ~,~acate3 az:d ~.b~n~oned as p~.:blic avenues,
streets, roads or thoroughfares, to-wit:
PARCEL O~iE
A parcel of land 60 feet in width the centerline of
which is described as follows: Commencing at the
intersection of Surfside Drive and the South line of
Surfside, Unit 2 a subdivision recorded in Plat Book
11, Page 8, St. Lucie County records said point being
the Point of Beginning. From the Point of Beginning
run s~utheasterly on a bearing of South 20°11'10" East
a distance of 1396.49 feet to a point, said point be-
ing the termination of this description. All bearings
refer to the West line of Section 7, Township 35 South,
Ran~?e 41 East , bearing iJorth.

` A tract of land 40 feet in width the centerline of
E which is described as follows: Commencing at the
~ intersection of the easterly right of way of Surf-
; side Drive and the South line of Surfside, Unit 2,
~ a subdivision recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 11, St.
~ Lucie County records run southeasterly along the
~ easterly ri~ht of way of Surfside Drive on a bearing
~ of South 20 11'10" East a distance of 1363.62 feet
~ to the Point of Beginning. From the Point of Begin-
ning run westerl_y to a point lying on the East right
~ of way of State Road A-1-A, said point being 1132.78
~ feet South of the intersection of the South line of
~ Surfside, Unit 2, a subdivision as recorded in Plat
~ Book 11, Page 8, St. Lucie County, Florida and the
~ East right of way line of State Road A-1-A as mea-
sured along the East right of way of State Road A-1-A,
said point being the termination point of this des-
cription. All bearings refer to the West line of
~ Section 7, Township 35 South, Range 41 East as bear-
ing ;Jorth .
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon the happening of
