AFFIDAVIT

Before me, the undersigned authority, personally appeared
CHRISTIE POLITIS, who being first duly sworn, did depose and
say:
1. That he has personal knowledge of the facts stated
herein.
2. That he was the Grantee in that certain Warranty Deed
from Will Leeper, et ux, to Christie Politis dated October 1,
1956 and recorded November 9, 1956 in Deed Book 221, page 70,
public records of St. Lucie County, Florida, whereby he acquired
title to that part of the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of Section
25, Township 35 South, Range 39 East lying south of Ten Mile ;

Creek and other lands as more specifically described in said
deed.
3. At the time of closing the aforesaid purchase, the
undersigned gave to Will Leeper a certain Mortgage Deed dated

October 1, 1956 and recorded November 15, 1956 in Mortgage Book ~
132, page 28, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida.

Said mortgage was a purchase money mortgage and it was intended . ~

; to encumber the land conveyed to the undersigned by Will Leeper, s
# et ux. The mortgage as written purported to encumber that part
~ of the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of Section 25, Township 35 i
~ ~
~ South, Range 38 East, lying south of Ten Mile Creek. The i
~
~ reference to Range 38 East was a scrivener's error. At the ~
~ ~
~
~ time of the execution of the aforesaid mortgage, the undersigned
~
~ did not own or claim any interest in the South 1/2 of Section 25, :
,
~ Township 35 South, Range 38 East and said mortgage shonld have
~ referred to Section 25, Township 35 South, Range 39 East.
~
~ Further affiant sayeth not.
