RESaT,UTION NO. 73-~23
WHER~;AS, pursuant to the provisions of Se~tion 98.031, Florida
Statu4es it is necessary to correct the following election precinct
~ines in St. Lucie County, Florida~ and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida has approved and concurred with the recom~?endati~ns of the
Supervisor of Elections of said County as to the correction of
election precinct iines as hereinafter established, described and
designa~ed; .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES~.VED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners in meeting assembled this 20th day of February, 1973, as
follows:
Section 1. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 5A are '
hereby altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection o~ the center lines of
Georgia Avenue and South Sth Street in the City of Fort P3erce,
Florida; run North along the center line of South 5th Street
to its intersection with the center line of Delaware Avenue;
run W~st along the cente?- line of Delaware Avenue~to its
' intersection with the center line of South 33rd Street; run
~ South along the center line of South 33rd Street to its
intersection with the center line of Okeechobee Road; run
Northeasterly along the center line of c~keechobee Road to
~ its intersection with the center line of Georgia Avenue;
run East along the center line of Georgia Avenue to the Point
of Beginning.
The voting place for said Election Precinct No. 5A~sha11 be the
Tropigas Building, 2101 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, Florida.
Section 2. The boundaries of Election Precinct No. 7 are hereby
altered and fixed to comprise the following area, to-wit:
I Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Sun-
rise Bovlevard and Georgia Avenue; run West along the center
- line of Georgia Avenue to its intersection with the center line
~ of Okeechobee :?oad; run Southwesterly along the center line of
~ ~ Ukeechobee Road to its intersection with the center line of
~ South 33rd Street; run South along the center line oi Sourh 33rd
~ Street to the center line of Virginia Avenue; run West along
t„ the center line of `Jirginia Avenue to the center line of South
~ 35~h Street; run South along the center line of South 35th
~ Street to the South city limits of the City of Fort Pierce;
~ run East and North along said city limits to the center line
of Virginia Avenue; run East along the center line of ~'irginia
