The ~s5istant ~ecretarv shali perform the duties of the ~ecretary irhen the `ecre#ary is absent. 5.5 The Treasurer shall have c;;stody of all pr~perty of the r':ssociation, including funds, securities and evidences of indebtedness. ~~e shall keep the hooks of tt~e ~':ssociation in accordar.c~ ~vitii good accounting practices; and he snall p~rform ail other duties incident to the office vf 'i'reas•arer. The provision that directors' i - l ~ fees shall be determined by rren=bers shall not preclude the ~oard of I:ir- ectors from errploying a director as an employee of the As~oc~ation nor pre- c~.ude the contracting with a director for the managerr:ent of the condor_~Inium. 6. Fisc~l ma:iagement.
