ENVIROAi.MENTAL CONTROL COMMITTEE
Section 1. Review by Committee. No building, fence, wall or other
structure shall be comaenced, erected or maintained upon The Properties, nor shall
~ny exterior addition to or change or alteration therein be made until the plans
and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials anu location
of the same shall have been submitted to and approv~d in writing as to harmony
of external design and location in re2ation to surrounding structures and topo-
graphy by the 8oard of Directors of the Association, or by an environmental control
committee composed of three (3) or more representatives appointed by the Board. In
tne event said board, ar its designated committee, f ail to approve or disapprove
such design and location within thirty (30) days after said plans and specifications
have been submitted to it, or,in any event, if no suit, to en3oin the addition,
alteration or change has been commenced prior to the completion thereof, approval
will not be required and this Article will be deemed to have been fully complied
with.
Section 2. Variances. ~e Board of Directors of the Association or the
environmental committee appointed by the Board may, with the approval of the St. Lucie
l County Building and Zoning Board, approve variances to the requirements of Article
X, Section 2.
