4. Except as herein amended and corrected in the foregoing
particulars, said note and cnortgage shall be and remain in full force
and effect, •
Nothing herein contained shall be construed to impair the
s~curity of the Administrator of Veterans Affairs, his successors or
assigqs, under said mortgage, nor affeGt nor impair any rights and
poweYS he or his successors or assigns may have under and by virtue
of said note and mortgage for the recovery of awnies due, with interest,
and this agreement shall not be considered as a novation, and no other
provision of said note and mortgage shall be in anywise;altered,
changed or corrected, except insofar as inconsistent with the Service-
men's Readjustment Act of 1944, as amended, and tlie Regulations promul-
gated thereunder.
IT IS STIPULATED, COVENANTED AND AGREED that the Mortgagors
are still o~rners in fee simple of the lands and premises described in
said mortgage, and that the same are fre~ and c~.ear of all encumbrances
save and except the said mor[gage hereinabove described, and that the
Mortgagors do hereby fu11y warrant title in said lands, and every part
thereof, and wi21 defend the same against the lawful claims of all
persons whomsoever.
