HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-024 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 43 44 45 4~ RESOLUTION 01-024 FILE NO.: RZ-00-015, PUD-00-011 AND MJSP-00-009 A RESOLUTION AMENDING PARAGRAPH 21 OF RESOLUTION 01-012 WHICH GRANTED PRELIMINARY AND PARTIAL FINAL PLANNED NON- RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT APPROVAL FOR THE PROJECT TO BE KNOWN AS MIDWAY-COONEY GROVES/MIDWAY ENERGY CENTER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucia County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, including, bUt not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: On April 3, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 01-012 granting Preliminary and Partial Final Planned Non-Residential Development District approval for the project to be known as Midway-Cooney Groves/Midway Energy Center. Paragraph 21, of Resolution 01-012, incompletely describes the proposed Midway Enerqy Center project. The proposed Midway Enerqy Center project consists of three (3) 170 megawatt electrical generation units, for a total of 510 megawatts of generation capacity. Paragraph 20 incorrectly references only one of these 170 megawatt units. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucia County, Florida: A. Paragraph 21, of Resolution 01-012 is hereby amended to read as follows: 21.) Coonev-Midway Groves, LC and Midway Development Company, LLC., has presented a petition for Final Planned Nonresidential Development approval for Lot 2 of the Cooney/Midway Groves PNRD for the purpose of constructing of a three (3), 170 megawatt, electrical generation units, for a total o~eqwatt, electrical generation facility, said facility to be referred to as the Midway Enerqy Center, to be located on the property described in Part G. The terms, conditions, and effective period of the original Certificate of Capacity shall remain in full force effect. A copy of this resolution shall be attached to the site plan drawings described in Resolution 01-012, which plan are on file with the St. Lucie County Community Development Director. Further, the St. Lucie County Community Development Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the notation of this resolution to be made on the Official Zoning Map of St. Lucie County, Florida, and to make notation of reference to the date of adoption of this Resolution.
