TAIS MORTGAGE DEED, executed the ~7.~ day of May, A. D. ~
1973, by CHESTER B. GRIFFIN, as Trustee; hereinafter called
the Mortqagor, to NATIONAL LAND COMPANY, hereinafter called
the Mortgagee:
(Wherever used herein the terms "mortgagor" and
"mortqagee" include all the parties to this in-
strument and the heirs, legal representatives and
assigns of corporations; and the term "note" in-
cludes all the notes herein described if more than
one . ) .
WITNESSETH, that for good and valuable considerations, and
also in consideration of the aqgregate sum named in the promissory
note of even date herewith, hereinafter described, the mortgagor
hereby grants,~bargains, sells, aliens, remises, conveys and von-
firms unto the mortgagee all~the certain land of which the mort-
gagor is naw seized and in possession situate in St. Lucie County,
Florida, to wit: -
_Beginning.on the quarter section line 64 feet West
of the SE corner of NW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 26, ~
Tawnship 35 South, Range 39 East, run thence North '
11 deg. 35 min. West, 418 feet to center of gully; ;
thence follawing center of gully to quarter section
line at a point 334.6 feet• West of point of beginni.nq,
thence East 334.6 feet to point of beginning.
Beqinning at the NW corner of NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of
Section 26, Tawnship 35-South, Range 39 East, run
thence South 110.5 feet; thence turni.ng Easterly
at an angle of 122 deg. 57 min. to the foregoing line
and run 199.8 feet; thence turn Northerly at an angle
of 140 deg. 13 min and run 300 feet; thence run
~ Northerly at an angle of 82 deg. 42 min. and run 186
~ feet to the quarter section line; thence along the
p quarter section line 422.8 feet to the point of
~ beginning.
AND the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 26, Tawnship
35 South, Range 39 East.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM all rights of way for public roads
and canals, and subject to easements, restrictions and
reservations of record.

This mortgage is inferior to a certain first mortgage ~
in the principal amount of $160,000.00 held by Albert
Welsh and record in O. R. Book 205, at page 1665, pub-
lic records of St. Lucie County, Florida, which mort-
gagor has assumed and aqreed to pay. Any default in
said prior mortgage shall constitute a default under
this mortgage.

~ TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with the tenements,
~ hereditaments and appurtenances ~thereto belonging, and the rents, ~
~ issues and profits thereof, unto the mortgagee, in fee simple. - t
AND the mortgagor co~enants with the mortgagee that the mort-
gagor is indefeasib ly seized of said land in fee simple; that the
mortgagor has good right and lawful authority to convey said land ~
