TEMPORARY EASEMENT

THIS INDENTURE, made this 22nd day of May, 1973, between the
ST. L[I+CIE COUNTY EROSION DISTRICT, hereinafter called the District,
and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereinafter called the Government.

W I T N E S S E T H:

WHEREAS, the Trustees of the Interr.al Improvement Trust E~uid '
of the State of Florida by Easement No. 24908 dated November 7, 1958
and recorded in OR Book 174 at page 2404 of the Public Records of
St. Lucie County, Florida qranted to the District a Perpetual Ease-
ment to enter upon, occupy and use any or all of the lands described
therein for the deposit of spoil and,
WHEREAS, the Government has requested the District to grant it
the use of said lands for a pipe line and disposal area for dredqing
operations to be conducted by the U.S. Corps of Engineers in the {

Fort Pierce Harbor. ;
NOoW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefits accruing to the

parties thereto the said St. Lucie County Erosion District does ~

hereby grant unto the United States of America, its officers, aqents,

i servants and contractors the easement, right, privilege and authority q

~ to enter upon, occupy and use any or all of the following described
~
~ lands in St. Lucie County, to-wit: `
A tract of sovereignty land in Section 36, Township ~
34 South, Range 40-East and Section 1, Township 35 ~
South, kange 40 East, St. Lucie County, Florida,
extending seaward a distance of 600 feet from the
following described traverse of the mean high water
line of the uplands as it existed on January 5, 1967. ~
~ For a point of reference: Commence at the intersection
of the West Right of Way Line of State Road AlA and
~ the Southerly line of Section 1, Township 35 South,
~Y
~ Range 40-East, as established by the State Road Le-
~ partment; thence East along said Southerly line of
~ said Section 1 a distance of 1~5.84 feet to the ~
~ Southeast corner of said Section 1; thence East along s
the last described course a distance of 89.76 feet
