of oil, gas (including casinghead gas), sulphur or other miner~ls,

produced by Texaco Inc. or others for its account; to sell, exchange ~
or dispose of equipment, materials and supplies Mhich in his opinion ~
are no longer required for use in the business of Texaco Inc., to ~

grant or acquire servitudes, easements, and rights-oY~way; to execute

ar~y and all forms, papers and documents, including oaths and affidavits
thereon, required to document, register or list with the Bureau of
Customs, Treasury Department, United States of America, and parti-

cularly Customs, District No. 20 thereof, and with any other Federal
or State Agency or subdivision any and all vessels, boats, bargea and ~
other floating equipment owned or operated by or f~r Texaco Inc.;
xhen specifically authorized by telegram or letter from the-President
or any Vice-President of said Texaco Inc., but not other~ise, to
grant, bargain, sell, convey and assign any lands, property, leases,
subleases, permits, licenses, mineral fees, royalty or.other intere~ts
bel bnging to said Texaco Inc.; to receive, receipt for and collect
such sums of money as ma.y be due and payable to said Texaco Inc. by
virtue of any transaction which he shall have had under and by virtue
of these presents or due and payable to said Texaco Inc. by virtue
of similar transactions which other parties shall have had by virtue
of other powers of attorney of said Texaco Inc.; to make, execute,
acknowledge and deliver all instruments, contracts, agreements, docu- _
ments, bonds, and affidavits of every na,ture and kind required in
carrying out or incident to carrying out the purposes of this power

of attorney, with such terms, covena.nts and stipulations as he may

deem proper or expedient; hereby givino and granting to him the power
and authority to do and perform any and all acts and things whataoever ~

necessary or proper to be done ir_ carrying out the foregoing as fully
to all intents and purposes as Texaco Inc. might or could do if acting
