CERTIFICATE OF APPOVAL ~
FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF BULKHEAD LINE ~
, N0. 56(7-10-73) !
WHEREAS, Section 253.122, Florida Statutes, as amended by ~
Chapter 70-13 and Chapter 70-81, Laws of Florida, authorizes local
authorities to locate and fix bulkhead lines in the tidal waters ~
~:within their jurisdictional limits for the purpose of controlling t
`~dredging and filling of submerged sovereignty lands in the interes~
of the public; and i -
~ i
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the + ~
Internal Improvemnnt Trust Fund, in which title to sovereign lands ~ '
~and waters is vested for the protection of the public interest, ~
is charged with approving or rejecting bulkhead lines established ~
`locally; and ? ~
: ~ ~
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County;
by Resolution No. 72-144, adopted December 19, 1972, did adopt and ~ f
:submit to the State of Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal {
`~Improvement Trust Fund for approval a bulkhead line 136.35 feet ~
;long in Section 4, Township 36 South, Range 40 Edst, St. Lucie~ ~
,County, said bulkhead line being more particularly described as ~
follows: ~

Commencing at the West ~ corner of Section 4, ;
; Township 36 South, Range 40 East, run-North 89° ~
46' 07" East a distance of 1347.39 feet along the
East-West 'y, line of said Section 4; thence ;
North 69° 49' S1" East a distance.of 297.45 feet; ;
thence South 88° 21' 27" East a distance of 95.0 feet; ;
thence Southerly_a distance of 37.0 feet at right : :
angles to the last mentioned course, to the Poin-t ; ;

submitted and finds it to be located and properly established ;
8ccording to the provisions of Section 253.122, Florida Statutes,
as amended by Chapter 70-13 and Chapter 70-81, Laws of Florida;
~ NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT TRUST FUND that the ~
~ bulkhead line as approved by the Board of County Commissioners of ~
~ St. Lucie County, by Resolution No. 72-144, adopted December 19, ~
~ 1972, be approved, adopted and certified for the purposes prescribeti
~ by Section 253.122, Florida Statutes, to remain effective until
~ altered or invalidated in accordance with the Law.
