TEAGUE, also known as RUBY TEAGUE, who, being by me duly cationed and sworn, upon her oath does depose and say: (1) That she lived in the area of Ten Mile Creek and lived . next to the property which was occupied by Charles Carlton and his wife Rhoda Carlton. The legal description of this property is as follows: ~ The NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, less land lying South of Ten Mi2e Creek of Section 33, Township 35 South, Range 39 East; ~ Beginning at the SW corner of Section 28, Township 35 South, Range 39 East, thence run East 1320 feet; thence run North 330 feet; thence run West 1320 feet; thence run South 330 feet; to the point of beqinning, lying and being situate in Section.28, Township 35 South, Range 39 East. (2) That Affiant knows that the above-described tract was one contiguous piece of property of approximately 40 acres and that on and prior to October 31, 1930, Charles Carlton resided on this tract with his wife Rhoda Cariton and with his children, Thad H. Carlton, Charles H. Carlton, Reuben W. Carlton, Mary Elizabeth Carlton, anrl that the additional child, Alberta Carlton Hayes, had ; married and nwved from the home by October 31, I930. ~ ; (3) That the tract is located in St. Lucie County, Florida, ~ 4 and that Char2es Carl~on, a~ong with the wife and children, were ~ ~ € residents of St. Lucie Coun~y, Florida, and resided on the above i ~ described tract at the time of the death of Charles Carlton. _ ~ ~ ~ (4) That said tract is located outside of any city Zimits ~ ; ~ and also was not within any municipal or city limits on October 31, ~ 1930.
