HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-141RESOLUTION NO. 01-141 A RESOLUTION REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF THE FEE FOR DISPOSAL OF CLASS III CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS, BUILDING MATERIALS AND PACKAGING MATERIALS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florid~ "Board"), has made the following determinations: 1. On May 25, 1999, pursuant to Resolution No. 99-164the Board re the amount of the fee for disposal of Class III Construction and Demolition Debri,' "C&D Tipping Fee") and directed staff to have the consulting engineers conduct study comprising of Construction and Demolition debris (C&D), Class I garbag~ yard waste. 2. Phase I of the rate study was the review of C&D material, 3. The Board has reviewed the results of the study and determined to rE the amount of the tipping fee for C&D material in accordance with the study. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissi~ of St. Lucie County, Florida the fees for use of the St. Lucie County Glades Landfill shall be as follows: 1. Minimum fees for disposal of all solid waste, a. Automobiles and utility vehicles, up to 165 lb. load: Regular fee Uncovered fee 92.50 per load 95.00 per load Vans, trucks, including open bed pick-up trucks, trailers, 300 lbs. load: Regular fee Uncovered fee 94.50 per load 99.00 per load words and passages are deleted. Miscellaneous Fees. Misc. Weight determination: 92.50 per weighing Disposal of solid waste generated outside of St. Lucie County shall requi~ approval of the Solid Waste Manager or his designee and shall be charged at twi¢ stated fee.
