GRANT OF SECURITY
STATE OF FLORIDA
COUNTY OF ST. LUCIE
This indenture, made and entered into this l% day of
October, 1973, by and between BILL STEWART AND MARLENE T. STEWART,
his wife, Grantors, and ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, a political
subdivision of the State of Florida, Grantee:
W I T N E S S E T H;
WI~REAS, Grantors have applied for a permit to mine sand from
certain lands in St. Lucie County, Florida, more particularly
described in Schedule "A" which is attached hereto and by reference
made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, Grantors have submitted with their application a
plan for mining said land, and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Zoning Resolution of St. Lucie
County, Florida, requires the Grantors to post suitable security to
assure that said plan will be completed as planned and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration o~ the premises and other
good and valuable consideration, Grantor hereby grants, bargains,
sells, aliens, remises, conveys and confirms unto Grantee all that
certain land of which Grantors is now seized and in possession
situate in St. Lucie County, Flarida, more particularly described
; in Schedule "A" which is attached hereto and by reference made a

; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that on compliance with each and everyone of

s the provisions of the mining plan heretofore submitted to the Board

of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, and on file
in the County Engineer's Office, the estate hereby created shall

be null and void and of no further force and effect. Upon

compliance as aforesaid by Grantors, Grantee shall deliver to Grantors
~
an appropriate instrument releasing subject premises from the lien and
