GRIFFIN, who, upon first being duly sworn, did depose and say that he has been a resident of Fort Pierce. St. Lucie County, Florida, for more than 61 years last past and has resided at 136 North 15th Street in said city since the year 1933. - Affiant further says that he has been knowledgeable as to the Possession of the following described property in St. Lucie County, Florida, namely, Lot 18, Block 1, of KILLER'S PLAT of the ~4`2 of the EZ of the SV~i 4 of the NE4 of Section 9, Township 35 South, Range 40 East, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, page 43, public records of St. Lucie County, Florida. throughout his period of residence at the above stated address for the reason that affiant's residence is situate in the same block and in close proximity to the hereinabove described Iot. Affiant says that for many years one E. F. Adams and Edith Z. Adams, his wife, owned and resided on the Iot immediately north of subject lot, being ~ , Lot 17 and the premises now being numbered 135 North 14th Street, Fort Pierce, Florida. That while so residing, the said E. F. Adatns appeared ~ ~ ; to the world to be in actual physical possession of said Lot 18, improving ~ ~ and treating the same as as a side yard for his residence. That toward the FS { 1 ~ end of World ~r ar II, or shortly thereafter, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Adams f ; sold their residence to D. E. Palmer and Ruth Palmer, his wife, and the ~ ( = said D. E. Palmer and wife went into possession of most of Lot 1$ following z said sale, with it being the understanding of this affiant that the balance of said Lot 18, being the South 25 feet thereof, ~vas by the Mr. and Mrs. E.
