SHORT FORM OF MORTGAGE
This Mortgage, dated the 6th ~y of December A. D. 19 73 , by and between

hereinafter called the Mortgagor, and ADMINISTRATOR OF VETERANS ~_..~FFAIRS, an officer .
of the United~States of America, and his successors in such office, as
such, and his or their assigns, , 7
hereinafter called the Mortgagee,
WITNESSETH, that for valuable considerations, the said ~1lortgagor dces hereby grant, bargain, sell
and convey unto the said Mortgagee and his assigns, al! that certain parcel of land of which the said
Mortgagor is now seized and possessed and in actual possession, situated in the County of St . Lucie
and State of Florida,-desc~ed as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of the following
tract : The West 400' of tiie North 225' of the E~ of the NE~ of the NW~ of
the SW and the NW~ of the NE~ of the SW~ of Section 8, Township 35 South,
Ran e~0 East, St. Lucie County, Florida; CONTINUED ON REVERSE SIDE
~ogether with all structures and improvements now and hereafter on said land and the rents, issues
and profits of the above described property (provided, however, that the Mortgagor shall be entitled to
collect and retain the said rents, issues and profits until default hereunder); and all futtures now or here-
after attached to or used in connection with the premises herein described and in addition thereto the fol-
lowing described household appliances, which are and shall be deemed to be, fixtures and a pazt of the
realty, and are a portion of the security for the indebtedness herein mentioned.
'PO HAVE ~AND TO HOLD the same, and every part ther~of, with the appurtenances of the said
Mortgagor in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof, unto the said Mortgagee in fee simple.
The Mortgagor hereby covenants with the Mortgagee, that he is seized of said land in fee simple or
such other estate, if any, as is stated herein; and that said Mortgagor dces hereby fully warrant the title to
said land, and every pazi, u~e«a€, and will defend the same against the lawfut claims of all persons
whomsoever.
PROVIDED ALWAYS, that if the Mortgagor should pay to the Mortgagee that certain promissory
note of even date herewith, made by the Mortgagor and payable to the order of the Mortgagee in the
; principal sum of ~ienty Thousand and no~100- Dollars, payable in monthly install-

j ments to principal and interest of $ 151. 06 starting on the ls t day of January
~ 19 ]LE , and if not sooner paid the final payment being due on the lst day of December

~ 1999 , or any extensions or renewals thereof and shall fully pay all other indebtednesS or liability that
~ may become due and owing hereunder and secured hereby, and shall faithfully and promptly comply with
~ and perform each and every other covenant and provision herein on the part of the Mort.~agor to be
4 complied with and performed, and every other covenant and provision as contained in that blank or master
~ form of mortgage, which is incorporated herein by reference as if set out herein in full, then these presents
~ shall be void and released at the expense of the Mortgagor, otherwise to remain in full force and effect. The
said blank or master form of mortgage was recorded on February 13, 1970, in the Official R.ecords of the
Clerk of the Circuit Court of the following counties in Florida in the Official Records Volume and at the
page designated after the name of each county, to-wit: (except that it was recorded in Bradford, Brevard,
~ Duval and Suwannee Counties on February 9, 1970, and in Dade County on February 10, 1970)
