THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA TO INCLUDE ALL
THAT PORTION OF THE SOUTH 825 FEET OF TNE NE~ OF

440 FEET AND LESS THE SOUTH 150 FEET OF THE NORTH ~ s

FEET OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 35 SOUTH, RANGE 40
EAST, EXCEPTING THEREFROM RIGI~TS OF WAY FOR PUBLIC
ROADS; DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR
AND ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO ASSESS SAID
PROPERTY AND PIsACE IT bN THE TAX ROLLS FOR THE
YEAR 1973, AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTING PUBLI-
CATION AND POSTING OF THIS ORDINANCE; ZONING SAID
LANDS; REPEt1LING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDI-
NAAICES Iid CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDItJG FOR A1J
EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSIOII OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
FLORIDA:
SECTIOP~ 1. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce,
Florida, be and they are hereby extEnded to,annex to the said City the
following described lands, to-wit:
A1l that portion of the South 825 feet of the NE~
of the NE'~, less the Plorth 412.5 feet of the West
440 feet and less the South 150 feet of the North
562.5 feet of the East 290 feet of the West 315
feet of Section 20, Township 35 South, Range 40
East, excepting therefrom rights of way for public
~ roads.

; SECTION 2. That the Tax Assessor of St. Lucie~County and the Tax
~ Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and add to the

y assessment roll and to collect the taxes on the lands described in
~ -
~ Section 1 hereof for the year 1973 and subsequent years, and to enter
~ ~
~ the same at such valuation that it will bear an equal and just propor-
~ tion of taxes for the year 1973 and subsequent years thereto.
~ SECTI~N 3. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be

~ published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the 2dews T~ibune in

~ Fort Pierce, Florida, and to post three copies of this Ordinance in a
ir
conspicuous place in the City Hall in the City of Fort P~.erce and three
~ ~
:~-t copies in a conspicuous place on the tract hereinbefore described, said
posting to be'for four consecutive weeks.
= SECTIOt~ 4. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective the lands

hereinabove described and annexed to the territorial limits of the City
- of Fort Pierce shall be and the same are hereby zoned for R-2 land uses,
in accordance with the zonin~ ordinances of the City of Fort Pierce,
Florida.
