AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF ~
TNE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, TO INCLUDE THE
ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SOUTH FOURTH STREET tS.R. 5
U.S. 1) TO THE~SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SAINT
JAMES BOULEVARD; DIRECTING THE ST. LUCI€ COUNTY
TAX ASSESSOR AND THE ST. LUCIE CbUNTY TAX COLLEC-
TOR TO PLACE SAID PROPERTY ON TiiE ASSESSMENT AND
COLLECTION ROLLS; DIRECTING PU6LICATIOt3 AND POST-
ING OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES .
OR PARTS THEREOF TN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PRO-
-VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
FLORIDA:
SECTIOP7 1. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce, ~
Florida, be, and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City the
following described lands , to-cait : '
BEGIN at the point of intersection of the South
line of the P1Gl~ of Section 27, Township 35 South,
Range 40 East an~ the West right-of-way line of
South Fourth Street (U.S.~l). Thence run South
along the West right-of-way line of South Fourth
Street (U.S.~1) to the extension of the South
right-of-way line of Saint James Boulevard. Thence
run East a distance of 120 feet along the exten- .
sion of the South right-of-way line of Saint James
; Boulevard to the East right-of-way line of South
~ ~ Fourth Street (U.S.#1). Thence run North along
f the East right-of-way i~ne of South Fourth Street

SECTION 2. That the Tax Assessor of St. Lucie County and the Tax

' Gollector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and add to the

f Assessment and Collection Rolls the lands described~in Sectian 1 hereof

: for the year 1973 and subsequent years. -
~ SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be ~
published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the News Tribune
` in Fort Pierce, Florida and to post t?~ree copies of this Ordinance in a

~ conspicuous place in the City Hall in the City of Fort Pierce and three
copies in a conspicuous place on the tract hereinbefore described, said
; posting to be for also four (4) consecutive weeks.
SECTIOi~t 4, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict

herewith are hereby repealed.
_ SECTIOt•1 5. This Ordinance shall be and become effective at the
