AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, TO INCLUDE TNE
ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SUNRISE BOULEVARD FROM THE
CENTERLINE OF EDWARDS ROAD TO THE INTERSECTION OF
THE SOUTH LINE OF THE NE~ OF SW~ OF SEC. 28-35-40;
DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE C~UNTY TAX ASSESSOR A1~ID THE
~ ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO PLACE SAID PRO-.
PERTY ON THE ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION ROLLS; ~
DIRECTING PUBLICATION AND PO5TIrdG OF THIS ORDIYANCE;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COt4MISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce,
Florida, be, and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City ~
the followinp: described lands , to--wit : _
BEGIN:;ING at a point~ of intersection of the North
~ line of Section 28, Township 35 South, Range 40
East and the Westerly right-of-way of Sunrise Boule=
vard thence run Southerly along the Westerly right-
of-way of Sunrise Boulevard to its point of inter-
section with the South line of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 35
South, Range 40 East, thence run east along said
South line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest
i quarter of Section 28, Township 35 South, Range 40
E East a distance of 80 feet (plus or minus) to the "
E Easterly right-of-way line of Sunrise Boulevard
~ thence Northerly along the Easterly right-of-way
~ line of Sunrise Boulevard to its intersection with
the North line of Section 28, Township 35 South,
~ Range 40 East, thence West $0 feet (plus or minus) to

~ SECTIOi3 2. That the Tax Assessor of St. Lucie County and the ~ax

~ Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and add to the
~ Assessment and Collection Rolls the lands described in Section 1 hereof
~ for the year 1973 and subsequent years.

~ SECTION 3,. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be
~ published on~~-a week for four consecutive weeks in the rlews Tribune

SECTION 4. Al1 Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
