' AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA TO INCLUDE THE
S~ OF LOT 7 AND ALL OF LOTS 8, 9, 10 , 11, 19 0,
21 AND 22, BLOCK 1, CROSS TRATL SUBDIVISION AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 7, PAGE 39, PUBLIC RECORDS
OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA; DIRECTING THE ST.
LUCIE COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR TO ASSESS SAID PROPERTY
AND PLACE IT ON THE CITY TAX ROLLS FOR THE YEAR
1974 AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE
COUNTY TAX- COLLECTOR TO COLLECT TAXES ON THE ABOVE
bESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1974 AN~ SUBSEQUENT
YEARS; DIRECTING PUBLICATION AND POSTING OF THIS
ORDINANCE; ZONING SAID LANDS; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. The Territorial Limits or the City of Fort Pierce, Florida,
be and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City the following
described lands to-wit:
South ~ of Lot 7 and all of Lots 8, 9, I0, 11,
19, 20, 21 and 22, Block 1, Cross Trail Subdi- ~
vision as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 39,
Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida. ~
; SECTION 2. That the Tax Assessor of St. Lucie County and the Tax

~ Collector of St. Lucie County are directed to place upon and add to the

~ assessment roll and to collect the taxes on the lands described in Sec-
F ~
~ tion 1 hereof for the year 1974 and subsequent years and to enter the
~
~ same at such valuation that it will bear an equal and just proportion of
~
~ taxes for the year 1974 and subsequent years thereto.

~ SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be

~ published once a week for four consecutive weeks in The News Tribune in
~
Fort Pierce, Florida, and to post three copies of this Ordinance in a
~ '
~ ~onspicuous place in the City Hall in the City of Fort Pierce and three
copies in a conspicuous place on the tract hereinbefore described, said
posting to De for four consecutive weeks. -
SECTION 4. That upon this Ordinance beccming effective the lands

- hereinabove described and annexed to the territorial limits of the City
of Fort Pierce-shall be and the same are hereby zoned for H-1 uses, in
~~=3 accordance with the zoning ordinances of the Cityof Fort Pierce, Florida.
~ECTION 5. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
- herewith are hereby repealed.
- SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and become effective at the

expiration of thirty days after final passage.
