Congdons to the Wells and the mortgage from the WelYs to Congdon,
mentioning a mortgage from affiant to Mission Groves, Inc., were in
error. No mortgage was ever executed from E. P. Congdon to Mission
Groves, Inc., securing the above property. A promissory note was

given by E. P. Congdon to Mission Groves, Inc. as a part of the
consideration when affiant purchased the'property from Mission
~
Gr~ves, Inc. That the indebtedness to Mission Groves, Inc.,
described in the Deed and mortgage mentioned in paragraph 4 was
' evidenced by a promissory note only, said promissory note not being
secured by"a mortgage on the property.
