This cause coming on to be heard before me this date on petition ~
of GEORGE T. BERRY ~oined by his wife CHARLOTTE D. BERRY, petitioning for
a final decree af adoption, and it appearing to the Court that the natural
father of the minor child has failed to file an Answer or Ob~ection to this
adoption and thereafter a default has been entered against the natural father,
Johnnie L. Massey, and the Court now being advised in the premises finds:

~ That the petitioner, GEORGE T. BERRY is a fit and proper
person to adopt the said minor child named in the petition, and that the best
; interest of said ninor wiZl be pramoted by such adoption. -
