FINAL JUDGMENT '
OF ADOPTION
This cause came on to be heard before me this day on
Motion of the Petitioner for Final Judgment of Adoption, and it
appearing that the. Department of Health and Rehabilitative
Services, Division of Family Services, has waived the requirement
of the thirty (30) day notice of intent to place a minor for
adoption, and the Court now being advised in the premises, finds:

1. That the Petitioner, GERALD MOORE SMITH, is a fit '
and proper person to adopt FREDERICK HENRY PENNELL, JR., and
that the best in.'terests of the said child will be promoted by
such adoption.
2. That the said child named above is suitable for
adoption by said Petitioner.
It is therefore, upon consideration,
, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED as follows:
A. That the permanent custody of the child known as
_ Frederick Henry Pennell, Jr., in these proceedings be and the
same is hereby given to GERALD MOORE SMITH in conjunction with
his Wife, LINDA K. SMITH.
B. That the said child now known as FREDERICK HENRY
PENNELL, JR., is given the lawful name of and shall henceforth

be known as FREDERICK HENRY SMITH. `
C. That the said FREDERICK HEt~RY Sr:ITH is hereby
declared to be the legal child and.lawful heir of GERALD MOORE
SMITH, and that said child shall be subject to alI. of the
obligations and entitled to all of the rights and privileges of
children born to the adopting parer~t in lawful wedlock.
