WHEREAS, there remains unpaid on said Note the
entire principal indebtedness of $450,000.00, with
interest thereon from August 30, 1973; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto
to extend the time for payment ofsaid Note as hereinafter
stated and, as security for such payment and interest
thereon as herein provided, to retain and extend said
Mortgage with all of the terms, agreements, covenants,
stipulations and conditions therein set forth, unaltered
and unchangedsave as to such terms thereof as are herein
modified;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises
and the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) each to the other in
hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
it is hereby agreed by and between the parties hereto:
1. So much of the Note and Mortgage as provides
j for "...the entire principal indebtedness, together with

; any and all interest accrued thereon, computed at the rate

~ of ten per cent (10%) per annum from August 30, 1973, to

~ December 3, 1973, and computed at the rate of fifteen per

~ cent (15%) per annum from December 3, 1973, to February l,

~ 1974, shall be due and payable in full onthe lst day of

~ February, 1974...." is hereby amended to provide for

~ "...the entire principal indebtedness, together with any
~ and all interest accrued thereon, computed at the rate of

~ ten per cent (10%) per annum from August 30, 1973, to
~ December 3, 1973, and computed at the rate of fifteen per
~
cent (15%) per annum from December 3, 1973, to May 1, 1974,
shall be due and payable in full on the lst day of May,
