MORTGAGE MODIFICATION AGREEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRE~ENTS THAT,
WHEREAS, the undersigned M. VERNON JENKINS and
DOROTHY H. JENKINS, his wife, are the owners and holders
of that certain mortgage to the undersiqned, which said
mortgaqe is dated March 1, 1973 and recorded in O. R. Book
211, Page 1649, Public Records o£ St. Lucie County, Florida,
securing an indebtedness from JOSEPH J. LACH and MARY ANN
LACH, his wife, to the undersigned in the original
principal sum of $b0,Q00.00; and
WHEREAS, said mortgage was given to secure the
payment of a certain promissory note dated March 1, 1973
in the original principal sum of $60,000.00, copy of which
said promissory note is attached to said mortgage; and
~ WHEREAS, said mortgage and promissory note are
dated March 1, 1973, and the terms of said promissory note
provide that it shall be payable "interest only is payable
March 1, 1974. Principal of $b0,000.00, plus interest, is
payable March 1, 1975. Right of prepayment in whole or•in ~
part, without penalty, at any time is reserved by maker and
WHEREAS, it is the desire and intention of the
undersigned, at the request of the mortgagors, to modify
the terms of paynaent of said promissory note and mortgage; and
- WHEREAS, mortgagors have paid to mortgagees on March
; 1, 1974 the sum of $5,000.00 to be applied to the principal

t amount of said note and mortgage, plus the interest due on

~ said note and mortgage on March 1, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH:
