a judgment be entered against the defendant in the sum of Three
~Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00), without costs, and upon payment
of the above sum to John C. Crankfield, Sr., as next friend, natural
guardian and surviving parent of John C. Crankfield, Jr., a minor,
the said John C. Crankfield, Sr., as next friend, natural guardian
and surviving parent of John C. Crankfield, Jr., a minor, shall
satisfy said judgment in full and of record.
The parties hereto having submitted the above compromise to
this Court for its approval, and the Court being of the opinion
that the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) is a fair and
adequate consideration for said minor and that the settle~nt is
beneficial to the estate of the minor, and the Court being otherwise
fully advised in the premises, it is
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED by the Court that the plaintiff, John
C. Crankfield, Sr., as next friend, natural guardian and surviving
parent of John C. Crankfield, Jr., a minor, do have and recover
of the defendant, John Ross Wilcox, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars
($3,000.00), the defendant to go henEe without day. It is further
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED by the Court that upon the payment of
; the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) to John C. Crankfield, ;
