ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT FOR DEED
IQ~IOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That CITY OF FORT PIERCE,
FLORIDA, a municipal corpor~tion orqanized and existing under and
in pursuance of the laws of the State of Florida, as Party of the '
First Part, in consideration of the sum of $ 96,378.68
and other valuable considerations, received from and on behalf
of FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF F'ORT PIERCE, a
corporation orqanized and existing under the laws of the United
States, with its principal office and place of business being
situate at 201 South Second Street in the City of Fort Pierce, ~
Florida, as Party of the Second Part, at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these pr~sents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, assign, transfer
and set over unto the said Party of the Second Part, a certain
Agreement for Deed bearing date the 3rd day of July, A.D. 1961,
made by EAST COAST GROCERY COMPANY; a Florida corporation, as
Party of the First Part, in favor of CITY OF FORT PIERCE, a
municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Florida,
and recorded in Official Records Book 15 at pages 356-357-358,
public records of St. Lucie County, Florida; AND FURTHER BY
~ THESE PRESENTS, does hereby remise, release and quit-claim unto
Party of the Second Part forever, all the right, title, interest,
claim and demand which the said First Party has in and to the
parcel of land situate in the County of St. Lucie, State of
Florida, known and described as follows, to-wit:
All of Block 1 of RIVERSIDE ADDITION, as per plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, page 51, of the
public records of St. Lucie County, Florida, including
all riparian rights and any iight, title or interest
of the grantors in and to the Street known as Orange
Avenue adjacent to said Block 1 of said RIVERSIDE
ADDITION.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that certain property set out and
being more particularly described in Deed Book 247 at
page 61 of the public records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
AND FURTHER EXCEPTING THEREFROM that certain property
set out and being more particularly described in Deed Book ;
221 at page 377 of the public records of St. Lucie County, t
Florida. . £
