AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL~LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA TO INCLUDE THF FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED PROPERTY: THE E~ OF THE SE'14, LESS AND EXCEP- •
TING THE E~ OF E'~ OF NE'~ OF SE'l4 AND LESS ROAD R/W, ALL
IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 35 SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST, CON-
TAINING 68.83 ACRES; DIRECTIriG THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY
ASSESSOR TO ASSESS SAID PROPERTY AND PLACE IT ON THE
CITY TAX ROLLS FOR THE YEAR 1975 AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS;
DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT
TAXES ON THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1975
AND SU3SEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF THIS OR-
DINANCE; ZONING SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND P-ROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida,
be and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City the following
described property: The East ~ of the Southeast ~,~less and excepting the
East ~ of East ~ of Northeast of Southeast and Iess road right-of-way,
all in Section 35, Township 35 South, Ra~ge 40 East, containing 68.83 acres.
SECTION 2. That the Assessor of St. Lucie County is directed to place
upon and add to the assessment roll the lands described in Section 1 hereof '
for the year 1975 and subsequent years, and to enter the same at such valua-
tion that it will bear an equal and just valuation.
; SECTION 3. That the Tax Collector of St. Lucie County is directed to

collect the ~axes on the lands described in Section 1 hereof for the year
1975 and subsequent years.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be
published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the News Tribune in
Fort Pierce, Florida. ~
SECTION 5. That upon this Ordinance. becoming effective the land here-
inabove described and annexed to the territorial limits of the City of Fort
. ,
Pierce shall be and the same are hereby zoned for "R-2" uses in accordance t
with the zoning ordinances of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida.
SECTION 6. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealeci.
SECTIOPd 7. This Ordinance shall be and become effective at the
expiration of thirty days after final passage.
