AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED PROPERTY: BEGIN 795.36' N. OF SW COR. OF
SE'~ OF NE~ OF SEC. 35, T-35-S, R-40-E, THENCE RUN N.
160', THENCE RUN E. TO W. R/W OF F.E.C. R.R., THENCE
SEly ON R%W TO A POINT DUE E. OF P.O.B., THENCE W. TO
P.O.B., CONTAINING 4 ACRES AND, ALL THAT PART OF
THE S. 13.35 CHAINS (881.10') OF THE SE'~ OF SEC. 26,
T-35-S, R-40-~, LYING W. OF F.E.C. R.R., CONTAINING
30 ACRES DIRECTING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY ASSESSOR
TO ASSESS SAID PROPERTY AND PLACE IT ON THE CITY TAX
ROLLS FOR THE YEAR 1975 AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECT-
ING THE ST. LUCIE COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO COLLECT
TAXES ON THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR
1975 AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS; DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE; ZONING SAID LANDS; REPEALING ALL OR-
DINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; .
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSIOIJ OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA:
SECTION l. The Territorial Limits of the City of Fort Pierce, Florida
be and they are hereby extended to annex to the said City the following
described property: Begin 795.36 feet North of Southwest corner of South-
east ~ of Northeast ~ of Section 35, Township 35 South, Range 40 East,
thence run North 160 feet, thence run East to West right-of-way of Florida
East Coast Railroad, thence Southeasterly on right-of-way to a point due
East of point of beginning, thence West to point of beginning, containing

SECTION 2. That the Assessor of St. Lucie County is directed to place
upon and add to the assessment roll the lands described in Section 1 hereof
for the year 1975 and subsequent years, and to enter the same at such valua-~
tion that it will bear an equal and just valuation.
SECTION 3. That the Tax Collector of St. Lucie County is directed to
collect the taxes on the lands described in Section 1 hereof for the year
~ 1975 and subsequent years. ;

~ SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance to be

~ published once a week for four consecutive weeks in the News Tribune in
~ Fort Pierce, Florida.
