General Power of Appointment. Upon the death af ~ ! my said wife, the entire remaining principal and undistributed income of ~ . ~ i the said trust shall be paid over, delivered, assigned, transferred, or ; conveyed to and among such appointee or appointees (including her estate) and in such proportions as she shall direct by her 1~Vill made after my death, making specific reference to this power. In disposing of this pro- perty my trustees shall be protected in relying upon an instrument ad- mitt~d to probate in any jurisdiction as the Will of my wife or in acting ; ~ ' upun the assumption that, if my trustees shall not have received notice ~ ~ , . ~ ~ of the existence of any Will left by her within three months after her ~ ~ death, she had died intestate and had not exercised this power of appoint- s ~ ment. ~ x 'r ~ Section 8. Failure to Exercise Power of Anpointment. Taxes.
