the CITY OF PORT SAINT LUCIE, the TOWN OF ST. LUCIE VILLAGE, and ;
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA, herein referred to as the "Governmental
Bodies". ~

W I T N E S S E T H: ~

WHEREAS, the Governmental Bodies desire to initiate, create and
establish a Regional Planning Council as provided in the by-laws, _
attached hereto and made a part hereof. - i
VOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the Governmental Bodies
~
as follows: +

1. There shall be and there is hereby created a Regional Planning
Council to be known as the "REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL IN FORT PIERCE
AND ST. LUCIE COUNTY".
2. Said Regional Planning Council in Fort Pierce and St. Lucie
County is hereby established pursuant to law and in accordance with
the by--laws attached hereto and made a part hereof'. ~
3. This~Agreement and the participation of the Governmental

Bodies named in this Agreement, shall continue indefinitely, until

E terminated. A termination shall consist of a notice in writing by •

the terminating party to the other governmental bodies. ~

~ 4. The Governmental Bodies hereto do agree to immediately and

` forthwith appoint members and alternate-members to said Regional
~ ~
~ ;
£ Planning Council, in accordance with this Agreement, and to do any ~
~ ~
~ and all things otheYwise incident to the immediate commencement of ~
~ the functions of said Regional Planning Council, including the pass- ~
~ ~
rti age of any resolutions necessary to this end.

~ IN WITVESS WHEREOF, the Governmental Bodies hereto have caused
~ this Agreement to be executed by their appropriate officers duly _
empowered and authorized on the day and year first above written. .
