SHORT FORM OF MORTGAGE
This Mortgage, dated the First day of ttay A. D. 19 74 , by and between
FORD R. SLOAN and ANITA LOUISE SLOAN, his wife
hereinafter called the Mortgagor, and
J. T. STEWART MORTGAGE COMPANY, INC. -
her~inafter called the Mortgagee,
WITNESSETH, that for valuable considerations, the said Mort.~agor does hereby grar?t, b~rgain, sell
and convey unto ~e said Mortgagee and his assigns, all that certain parcel of land of which t6e said
Mortgagor is now seized and possessed and in actual possession, situated in the County o! St. Lucie
and State of Florida, described as follows: Lot 15, Block 6, REVISID PIAT OF SOUTH
1~TENTY-FIFTN STREET SUBDNISION,according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat
Book 11, at page 46, of the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida.
Together with all structures and improvements now and hereafter on said land and the rents,. issues
and profits of the above described property (provided, however, that the Mortgagor shall be entitled to ~
collect and retain the said rents, issues and profits until default hereunder); and all fixtures now or her~ ,
after ssttached to or used in connection with the premises herein described and in addition thereto the fol-
lowing cic.~c~.tibed household appliances, which are and shall be deemed to be, figtures and a part of the ;
realty, and ue a~ortion of the security for the indebtedness herein mentioned. ;

The Morfgagor hereby covenants with the Mortgagee, that he is seized of said land in fee simple or
such utl~er estate, if any, as is stated herein; and that said Mortgagor does hereby fully warrant the title to
, said land, and every part thereof, and will defend the same aga.inst the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever.
PROVIDED ALWAYS, that if the Mortgagor should pay to the l~sortgagee that certain promissory
` note of even date herewith, made by the Mortgagor and payable to the order of tlie Mortgagee in the
~ principal sum of ~1ENTY-TWO T[iOUSAND AND NO/100- Dau~+ Pa3%able in monthly install-
~ ments bQ principal and interest of $169.18- starting on the lst day ot June
