On this day before me, the undersigned authority, personally
appeared JAMES W. BASS, who after being by me first duly sworn upon
oath says:
1. That my name is JAM~S W. BASS; Affiant is the duly
elected, qualified and acting Tax Assessor for St. Lucie County,
Florida.
2. I hereby certify on or about January 5, 1970 RALPH D.
OSTERHOUT and LILLIAN OSTERHOUT, his wife, under the provisions
~ of Florida Statute 95.18 and 95.19 did return the following
described real property in St. Lucie County, Florida, for tax
purposes:
That part of the NW~ of the NE~, Section 30,
Township 35 South, Range 40 East, more particularly
described as follows:
~ Commencing at the SW corner of the SE4 of the

~ NW4 of the NE4 of said Section 30, run thence
~ West 8.27 feet; thence North 687.26 feet; thence
run East 136.72 feet to the point of beginning;
From said point of beginning, run East 68.36 feet;
thence run South 98.87 feet; thence run West 68.36
feet; thence run North 98.87 feet to the point of
beginning.
Same being otherwise described as Lot 13 of an
unrecorded plat of Leon Acres.
3. From and after January 5, 1970, the property was
placed on the ad valorem tax rolls of St. Lucie County, Florida in
the name of RALPH D. OSTERHOUT and LILLIAN OSTERHOUT, his wife, and
in January of 1971, they were granted homestead exemption on the
property and have renewed said exemption each year thereafter.
4. I further certify that the original Affidavit filed by
