This cause came on to be heard before me upon
the verified petition for adoption filed in this cause and
served constructively by publication upon the put~tive father
of SHANNON MARIE SMALL, the minor to be adopted, and it appearing
to the Court that the natural mother of SHANNON MARIE SMALL
has consented to the adoption of the infant to be adopted
by the Petitioners, and that the Petitioners are fit and proper -
persons to adopt the minor child and that the best interest
of the minor child would be promoted by the adoption and that
i the child is suitable for adoption by Petitioners, and that

the natural father of the child has foresaken his parental
l
obligations and abandaned the child, it is
ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the minor child known
as SHANNON MARIE SMALL is declared to be the legal child of
the said Petitioners; and is given the aame of SHANNON MARIE
GATH, by which name she shall hereafter be known.
DONE AND ORDERED in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County,
