( I) Bonds of the 'Thirtieth Scries are not redeemable prior to May 1,
1979. Bondsof the 'I'hirtieth Series shall be redeemable oa and aRer May 1,
1979, either at the opuon of the Company or pursuant to t6e requirements of
the Mortgage in whole at any time, or in part from time to time, prior to
maturity, upon notice, as provided in Secdon 52 of the Mortgage, maited at
teast 30 days prior to the date fixed for redemption, at the principal amount
of the bonds to be redeemed, without premium, in each case together with
aaxued interest to the dace fu~ed for redemption.
(II) At the option of the registered owner, any bonds of the 'Thirtieth
Series, upon surrender t6ereof for cancellatioa at the oftice or agency of the
Company in the Borough of Maahattan, The City of New York, together
with a written inswment of transfer wherever required by the Company,
duly executed by the .registered owner or by his duly authorized attomey,
shall (subject to the provisions of Section 12 of the Mortgage) be
exchangeable for a like aggregate principal amount of bonds of the same
series of other authorized denominations.

E Bonds of the Thirtieth Series shall be transferable ( subject to the -
! provisions of Section 12 of the Mortgage ) at the oH'ice or agency of the
Company in the Borough of Manhattan, The City of New Yoric.
~ Upon any eachange or uar~sfer of bonds of the 1'hirtieth Series, the
! Company may make a charge therefor sufficieat to reimburse it for ~ny tau
~ or taues or other governmental charge, as provided in Section 12 of the
Mortgage, but the Company hereby waives ~~y right to make a charge in
~ addition thereto for any exchange or vaasfer of bonds of the 'Thirtieth .
Series.

Dividend Covenant
SECTtorv 2. Section 3 of the 'I'hird Supplemental Indenture, as here-
tofore amended, is hereby further amended by inserting the words "or
Thirtieth Series" immediately before the words "remain Outstanding".
