HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-159RESOLUTION NO. 01-159 Exhibit C A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR AS THE DESIGNATED STAFF PERSON FOR THE COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR DUTIES FOR ST. LUCIE COUNTY AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED TRUST FUND GRANT APPLICATION WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR THE TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. This Board is authorized to submit a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Grant Application to the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged for Fiscal Year 2001-02. 2. This Board is authorized to undertake a transportation disadvantaged service program pursuant to Section 427.0159, Florida Statutes, and Rule 41.2, Florida Administrative Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA: 1. This Board hereby authorizes the submission of a Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Grant Application with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged for Fiscal Year 2001-02 in the total amount of One Hundred Eighty- Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twelve and 00/100 dollars ($189,912) in Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund monies and Twenty-One Thousand One Hundred One and 00/100 dollars ($21,101) local monies, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A". 2. This Board authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the application and any subsequent award agreement on behalf of the Board. Grant Application Page 4 3. This Board further designates the St. Lucie County Community Services Director as the staff position to execute any and all subsequent documents necessary including agreements, assurances, reimbursement invoices, warranties and other documents which may be required in connection with the Transportation Disadvantaged Commission. 4. This resolution shall become effective on adoption. After motion and second, the vote on this resolution was as follows: Chairman Frannie Hutchinson Vice Chairman Doug Coward Commissioner Cliff Barnes Commissioner John D. Bruhn Commissioner Paula A.
