AFFIDAVIT

COUNTY OF BERGEN )
ROBERT PEDEVILL, of full age being duly sworn according
to law upon his oath deposes and says: -
1. I reside at 2055 Center Avenue, Fort Lee, New Jersey.
2. I am the son of Joseph R. Pedevill (also known as
Joseph Pedevill)~ and Diana Pedevill, who died respectively on
December 25, 1971 and January 19, 1971, both domiciled in New
Jersey.
3. I am an Executor of the Estate of the said Joseph R.
Pedevill and as such do hereby certify and aver that all Federal
Estate Taxes payable as a result of the death of the said Joseph
R. Pedevill, with the exception of an alleged deficiency of

i $17,799.90, with interest if any thereon, have been paid in full.

~ Attached hereto and made a part hereof is a true copy of the pre-
~ liminary statement from the Department of the Treasury, Internal
Revenue Service, showing such alleged deficiency and at the bottom
of such statement, a true copy of the Estate check in payment of
such taxes in amount of $391,230.41. The said statement alleging
the deficiency has been protested to the Internal Revenue Service
and appeal proceedings with respect thereto are pending. The
Estate of Joseph R. Pedevill`has more than sufficient assets to
pay such deficiency, together with the interest, if any, due there
~ on should the Internal Revenue Service prevail in the pending
~
appeal.
