HomeMy WebLinkAbout1807 the Honorable ROBERT STONE, State Attorney of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, as such duties relate to the investigation, presentation before the Grand Jury, prosecution and representation of the interest of the State of Florida at all trial level proceedings, ana all related matters, functions and activities more particularly described in Section 2 belaw. Section 2. That the Assigned State Attorney and any one or more of his duly qualified Assistant State Attorneys, which assistants 2 i ~ may be designated by him or investigators, shall proceed forth- ~ with to the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit to investigate, and ~ , take other such action as he may deem appropriate so that ~ 4 justice ~ay be served in connection with allegations of official s # misconduct on the part of the Fort Pierce Police Department. _ ~ Section 3. ~ _ ~ That d~~ring the perion of this assignment or any i extension thereof, the Assigned State Attorney and any one or _ ~ more of his duly qualifiec Assistant State Attorneys shall be ~ s vested with all and singular the powers and duties and prerogatives of State Attorneys or Assistant State Attorneys as the case may be, _ I~ by virtue of the Constitution, Laws of Florida, and this Executive ~ ~ Order. Section 4. That all residents Qf the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit are hereby i~~;~~ested, and all public officials are directed to cooperate an~ render whatever assistance is necessary to the end that justice may be nromptly served. i ~ Section 5. ~ That the period of this executive assignment shall be to ~ ar.d inc?_u~i.ng, Friday, August 30, 1974. Section 6. ~ The Assigned State Attorney will notify the Governor on or before, Friday, August 16, 1974, if additional time is required.
