THIS CAUSE came on to be heard upon the petition of
- my~pRD LINNEI,I, RpNDpLL and GRACE LOUISE GASKIN RANDALL, his wife,
Ifor Final-Judgment of Adoption. All parties except THOMAS GASKIN
~~appeared, and the petitioner EDWARD LINNELL RANDALL appeared
lispecially by affidavit. And the Court after hearing testimony
~ of GRACE LOUISE GASKIN RANDALL, the natural mother, and also the
~
~ testimony of the children to be adopted, BELINDA ANITA GASKIN and
~pHILLIp ANTHONY GASKIN, and now being fully advised in the premise -
~
( f inds :
~ l. That the petitioner, EDWARD LINNELL RANDALL, the pre-
~ sent step-father of BELINDA ANITA GASKIN and PHILLIP ANTHONY GASKI ,

i ~ is a fit and proper person to adopt the children name~ in the peti
~ i`•tion, and the best interests of the said children will be promoted

~ ; by such adoption.
~ 4~ 2. That the said children are suitable for adoption by '
~ '~the said petitioner. ~ ~

~ 3• That diligent search and inquiry has been made to
~~determine the residence of THOMAS GASKIN, and said residence is

±~unknown. That notice by publication of this adoption has been

` 4. That the natural father, THOMAS GASKIN, has abandoned
