(Amendment to Executive Order)
WHEREAS, by Executive Order 74-35 dated July 8, 1974,
the Honorable Robert Eagan, State Attorney of the Ninth
Judicial C~rcuit of Florida, was assigned pursuant to §27.14,
Florida Statutes, to discharge the duties of the Honorable
Robert E. Stone, State Attorney of. the Nineteenth Judicial
Circuit, as such duties are outlined in said Executive
Order, and
WHEREAS, the Assigned State Attorney has advised the
Governor that.in his professional opinion, he cannot complete
his executive and prosecutoriai duties required within the ~
time limit of the aforesaid Executive Assig:zment and he has
therefore requested an amendment to his assignment extending
said time limit an aaditional seven days, and
WHEREAS, in view of the foregoing and other premises,

I find that it is in the best interest of the State of
Florida, and that justice can best be served by amendment
ef Executive Order 74-35 and the extension of the aforesaid
Executive Assignment as provided below;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, REUBIN O`D. ASKEW, as Governor of
Florida, in obedience to my solemr constitutional duty to
take care that the laws be faithfully executed and pursuant
to the Constitution and Laws of Florida, do hereby promulgate
the following Executive Order, effective at 12:01 a.m.
