THIS CAUSE was duly presented to the Court on behalf of ~
A. J. Kimbrough, leg~l guardian and next friend of Henry Bates, a ~
minor, and Bryan & Kobl.egard, their attorneys of record, and by the .
defendant, for a compromise of their claim against the defendant
Melvin Star?ing.
The plaintiff A. J. Kimbrough, legal guardian and next friend
of Henry Bates, a minor, and their attorneys, and the defendant
and his attorneys are of the opinion that the sum of Ten Thousand
and 00/100 Dollars ($10,000.00) is a fair compromise settlement af
their respective claims as a result of an accident which occurred
in St. Lucie County, Florida, on or about April 10, 1974, wherein
the minor plaintiff was injured. _ ~

The defendant denies liability by reason of said accident, ~
or that injuries resulted. Hawever, the defendant has agreed to
pay the sum of Ten Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($10,-000.00),
which is accegtable to the plaintiffs and their attorneys of
record; provided, however, that the Court approve said payment,
the compromise and settlement. In return €or the said payment,

the parties have agreed that a judgment be entered against the ;
~
~efendant in the sum of Ten Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($10,000.00)

without costs, and upon payment of the above sum to A. J. Rimbrough
the legal guardian and next friend of Henry Bates, a minor, the
said A. J. Ki.unbrough or his attorneys of record shall satisfy ;
