discontinue the transportation of natural gas through a pipeline, then ia
that event FIARIOA will, upon demand of the District and after six (6)
iuonths notice ia irriting, remove the pipeline from the rights of ways of the
Distrfct and this Permit shall tl~zreupon cease and tercninate.
6. Ia no event shall the District be liable to FLORIDA for any
damages done or caused by the District or any of its officers, agents or
employees; and FLORIDA sball save the District harmless from any cost, charge or
expense or claim or demand of any person against the District arising fram
or pertaining to the installation, location, operation, maintenance or removal
of said pipelines. -
7. That FIARIDA agrees to maintain that part of the canals and ~
ditches of the District encompassed in the area covered by this Permit aC
each such crossing, which such maintenance shall be in such manner as ta
permit the free f1oW of Waters in the same manner as exists on both sides
thereof.

8. That in the exercise of the rights granted fn this Permit,
FLORIDA will not create any obstructions or conditions which are or may become
dangerous to the owners or occupants of adjacent lands, and FLORIDA will
~ pranptlq repair any damage or injury to any public or private roads on the

rights of vays of the District occasianed by the exercise of the privileges
granted.
9. T'hat FLORIDA will camply with all those reasonably necessary rules
and regulations promulgated for the protection of said District and its
landovners by its Board of Supervisors either enacted before or after the
granting of said Permit.
10. That this Permit may be assigned and transferred by FLORIDA; provided
however, that no assignment, transfer or pledge by FLORIDA of the rights granted
in this Permit to any mortgagee or mortgage trustee shall obligate such mortgagee
or mortgage truseee to perform the obligations of such Permit unl.ess and uutil
the mortgagee or mortgage trustee shall become the owner and holder of this
Perc?it and provided, hoWever, that the owner or holder of this Permit shall
always remain obligated to perform the terms and conditions hereof. _
