B. No Waiver. No owner may exempt himself ~rom liability ~ ~ for any ass~ssment or levy aqainst such owner or his apartment by waiver of the use or enjoyment of any of the common elements or by abandonment of his apartment. C. Lien to secure payment of comomon expenses. The Association is hereby given a lien securing payment or payments of assessments imposed by the Association pursuant to the terms of this Declaration and the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws of the Association, together with interest and all collection expenses, including attorneys' fees, as authorized in the fore- ~ ~ , ~ going paraqraph. Such lien may be foreclosed by suit brought j t in the name of the Association in like manner as a foreclosure ~ { i ! of a mortgage on real property. In any such foreclosure, as an ~ E i additional sum due, the apartment owner shall be required to ~ pay the Association a reasonable rental for the apartment for . . , ~ the period from default sued upon until payment of all sums so _ ~ ~ due, and the Association shall be entitled to the appointment of a receiver to collect the same. D. Certificate as to assessments._Any apartment owner may require the Association to furnish a certificate showing the amount of unpaid assessments against him with respect to his apartment and the holder of a mortgage or other lien upon an apartment shall have the same right as to such apartment.
