Hayslip, are fit and proper persons to adopt said child,
whose best interest will be promoted by such adoption,
said child beinq suitable for adoption by Petitioners;
2. Scott Edward ~iayslip, a male minor, born on
February 18, 1974, is hereby adopted by the Petitioners
herein, Norman E. Hayslip and Susanne R. 8ayslip, and
shall be in all respects treated henceforth by said
Petitioners as their lawful child, and they shall jointly
share in the care, custody and control of said minor;
3. The minor child herein adopted shall hereafter
be known in name as Scott Edward Hayslip, and the
appropriate agency or authority is hereby directed to
amend the~birth certificate accordingly; •
4. This judgment shall have the effect of creating
the relationship between the adopted child and the
Petitioners and all relatives of the Petitioners that
I~ would have existed if the adopted child were a legitimate
~ blood descendant of the Petitioners in accordance with
I
Florida Statute 63.172, including the right of inheritance.
