Home My WebLink About1479 . . ~U ~ ~ , . ~soLU~c~ox No. ~4-156 29~p82 - ~ , ~ wHEREAS, the Fort Pi.erce Cemetery Association has petitioned the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida to vacate that portion of the plat of Altadena Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 4 at paqe 71 described as follows, to-wit: The West 1/2 of Lot 37, all of Lots 38 through _ - 53, all of I.ots 60 through 77 and those portions of Avenue I and J lyinq between said lots as ~ shown in Plat Book 4 at ~Page 71 of tYie public records of St. Zucie County, Florida. and ~ - WHEREAS, notice of~`intention to apply to said Board of County ~ Commissioners to va?cate that portion of said plat was given by legal notice published on November 22 and 29, 1974 in the News~ i Tribune, a daily newspaper published in Fort Pierce, St. Lucie County, Florida, and - WBEREAS, said petitioner has shown that it is the owner in fee ~ simple of all the lots in that porti.on of said subdivision sought to be vacated; that the vacation by the Board of the portion sought to be vacated wirl not affect the ownership of persons owning ' other parts of said subdivision and that there are no unpaid taxes ~ on said land and that the City Commission of the City of Fort _Pierce'did on December 9, 1974 adopt Ordinance No. G-196 vacating said pvrtion of said plat, a certified copy of which has been furnished to the.County. i NpW~ TE3EREEORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis- sioners of St. Lucie County, Florida ir. meeting assembled this lOth day of December, 1974, as follows: 1.
