Tfie Florida Rules of Procedure for Traffic Courts Rule 6.200
specifically forbids a court acceptance of a guilty or nolo contendere ~
ples other than by appearance of the defendant or the defendant's attorney~
in open court; therefore, all traffic crimiaal offenses require a mandatory
court appearance.

you ve in fact a valid license e~cisting and issued to qou
before the date of your citation..you may avoid your mandatorq ~ .
court appearance by taking such valid existing license to the
- encircled violations bureau and having notation thereof made by
the clerk. and the court~will then dismiss the off~nse. HoWever,
_ if you are cited with driving on an expired. suspended, or revoked ~ ~
license'or any other~violation under ChapCer 322. F.S.. it will be -
• necessary for qou to come into court oA your appearance date to ~
ansWer such offense. It is recomtaended that you obtain a valid
license prior to your court appearance date. if possible and bring f
it iritb qou to court. '
~ ~pOrl'E: If qou have posted bond and fail to appear on a traffic criminal
