Among the measures which shall be encomgassed in the uniform Circuit- wide procedure are the following: . 1. La~ Enforcement Agency. a. The original and first copy of uniform traffic citations • issued z~o alleged offenders along wi.th the offender's informal • court report shall be forwarded so as to~arrive in the approp- riate countp traffic violation buresu within 48 normal working . hours after fssuance. ~ ~ _ ~ b. Arresting officers shall provide~traffic offenders with an i - i information sheet ~iting name and location of appropriate clerk ; ~ ; ~ ~ of court's office, instructions for requesting Affidavit of` ~ Defense, etc. at the time of issuance of ci,tgtion and~shall indicate the amount of bond and penalty for the offense or fnfraction as set forth in addendums to this rule. . e. Arresting officers shall set a court appearance date, time and~location for traffic offenders on all citations issued. Unless offender is confined on a traffic criminal offense, the court . appearance date shall be set no earlier than seven days or norma.lly ~ no more than three weeks from citation issuing date, consistent with the respective county court calendar. d.
