e. Any person cited~with the commission of~a traffic infraction
may, where no hearing is required or heard and the offender admits
the infraction by posting then forfeiting a cash bond or paying the
~ penalty to the traffic vialations bureau in the county in which the
infraction was co~onm3.tted by cash, monep order or cashier's check
in the amount set forth in the total column of the attached
- schedule for the respective infraction. The citation issuing
officer shall enter the amount of penalty for the appropriate

[ infraction from the infraction bond/penalty schedule on the

~ information sheet given to the person cited. .

f. Any person cited for ,the commnission of a traffic_ infraction
where no hearing is required and who elects to attend a driver
improvement school in lieu of payment of penalty shall be directed
. bp the citation issuing officer to contact the appropriate traffic
violations bureau in person or in writing within five working days
in the county in which the infraction was comomitted for directions
_ on the ~school attendance.

~ infraction requesting.a hearing mus.t appear for hearing as sched-
uled. The citation issuing officer will not be rei~uired to
attend the initial appearance. Should the offender enter a not-
guilty plea, the hearing would be continued, then the citation
